Almost all of my links became invalid, but I am steadily replacing them. That is going to take some time (sevearl weeks). Check the dates of the various webpages - if they are this year, they will be new links, so should work. I've now had requests for everything, so I'll do them mostly in year order, but I will still be posting new years, as I complet the catalogues.Each link takes me about an hour to upload. Obviously, I don't sit at my computer 24 hours a day!

Alternatively, you could send me an external (USB) disk, and I will be happy to copy my whole collection, and post it back to you. I'll include the Billboard Top 100s of the Year, and the Rolling Stone Magazine's Top 500 Songs of All Time. The disk will need free space of about 150 Gigabytes. Iinitially, I did that for four people who had a very limited download option. All were delighted. Lots of people have now responded to this offer (they were equally delighted)- why not you? It's far easier for me to copy to an external disk than to post a year of 1990s minors.. This offer is available world-wide (I have posted disks to several countries). All I will charge is the actual postaage cost (typically well less than the cost of a regualr CD).

I've extended the original project to find all the hits which made the weekly Top 40 (even if only for one week), but didn't make it into the Top 100 of the year. With the help of my amazing online friends, I now have 99.9% of everything which made the weekly Top 40. It's going to take me quite a while to post all of them. The nineties are taking a lot longer than I had hoped - I was missing far more than I had been led to believe. 1997 & 1998 Minors are now ready to post, and they will follow as soon as I've finished uploading 1996: There are lots of uploads, so that will take some time.

I'm just an ordinary guy. I DO make mistakes. All that I've been told about have been corrected. If you discover anything which needs fixing, please tell me about it, so I can deal with it! I do need to be told about even the very trivial errors - I can't spot them myself. I have been told about a significant number of corrections to the fifties, sixties and seventies. I have created a 'Change Log', to help you decide whether you want to bother with the changes. The updates are generally small downloads. Many thanks to Chris K, whose several emails have now identified (hopefully!) all of my omissions. I've received a number of new corrections recently. I hope to get those posted soon.

Many thanks to Music Kid in Yorkshire, who is providing the complete 2002 to 2009. There are around 500 minor tracks for each year, so there is a lot of work needed from me to get them onto this site. These are currently on hold while I deal with the nineties that I now have, but if someone is waiting for 2006, I might digress- I've already done a lot of work on that.

Good News! Mark K now has everything that ever made the weekly Top 40. He has now given me his collection, which is organised very differently from this site, so will take lots of work to be ready for me to post. The only thing keeping this site from being complete is my ability to process all that I now have! Is there anyone close enough who would like to pound a keyboard to help?
